Actually I didn't mean to suggest the raptor is more nimble. I just felt it was easier to use. The caveat I gave about needing more seat time and familiarity was genuine.
In fact, after more seat time I've started to appreciate the Rivian all that much more. It definitely is a solid vehicle...
There are so many variables here.
What you are used to driving, what you are looking for, etc.
Honestly the only real way to be sure is to find a way to get behind the wheel of a R1T. Otherwise you won't know until yours gets delivered. You do have a 7 day return policy so if you end up not...
I posted about this earlier today in another thread. I have the same issue on my new R1T.

Not unexpected but still a bummer.
I say be happy they are buying it back from you.
If you are going to hold out for another R1T I would argue that you may benefit the longer it takes. They have a lot of things they need to work out. From production to service. A Rivian a year from now will...
I received my R1t yesterday. It is obviously a bigger/heavier vehicle than my M3P.
There could be a few reasons for the way the R1T feels. Weight, wheels, throttle mapping, transition to/from hold mode, etc. It might be some of these are having impact or even all may be conspiring to create...
After a day of driving I observed something else. A hood flutter. When at highway speeds I noticed some slight flex/vibration in the hood. I haven't seen any discussion about this so I googled it...
:/ Bummer, first time I've experienced it. After talking with service I get the distinct impression they would rather not have to send someone 200 miles to my house to fix it. Not sure if this gets resolved. As DaveA pointed out, it could be worse.
No sir, the delivery experience was probably the smoothest part of my journey. You can look up my post(s) detailing the several issues I have had with this purchase.

Without going over the whole thing in detail Ill give a quick recap....
A) Truck ordered, truck damaged on delivery day...
Thanks!
The Rivian seems slightly more quiet in certain aspects (more padded, less interior intrusion from the outside world) but I can hear distinct wind noise near both side view mirrors. Not terrible but not as buttoned up as I assumed it would be.
Our M3P is fairly new (2022) and has more...
Without boring everyone with the entire back story.....
Guide texted around 10am to let me know delivery would be delayed by a little bit (scheduled for 2pm), I texted back and mentioned I had a meeting scheduled (3:30) about an hour and half after scheduled delivery time and I had to go to it...
After many trials and tribulations we have finally taken possession of our R1T.
Today's delivery was even a mess, but it all worked out in the end.
Some really quick impressions (I'll have to do a more detailed review after I get more seat time)..
1. I really like the Forest Green, glad I...
At this point I am planning to accept the truck. Last thing to work out is getting Rivian to send me something acknowledging the refund they owe besides just listing that I paid them 2k more than the truck's new price. I won't rock crawl with the the Rivian so if the only thing different is...
Just received my buyers agreement to sign. Two observations...
1) Looks like the math may be wrong on it
2) It shows 100 miles on the OD
**EDIT** solved, read below replies regarding mileage
That truck had 7 miles on it in the YT video, which about 5 days ago! Looks like I am going to refuse...
