  1. R2 soft close frunk and “Dynamic Roof”

I don’t mind touching the buttons on the frunk and hatch of the R1 since it was one small surface area and you could also use the fob if it was really dirty. Bugs plastered on the hood is a whole different story, especially since you need like a whole palm and force and longer duration and...
  2. Software updates that should be here by now.

Things you don’t know you need/want till someone tells it to you. Necessary for tropical weather.
  3. Software updates that should be here by now.

Yes! Don’t like it plugged in at 100% for hours before I leave on road trips.
  4. Software updates that should be here by now.

I think “sooon” stands for “sometimes only optimistic, otherwise never”
  5. Software updates that should be here by now.

How bad is it? I think I would like keep it asleep sometimes since it’s always waking and sleeping when I pack the car.
  6. Software updates that should be here by now.

Never thought my expensive Rivian would be a teen mobile anytime soon but yeah it’s happening. Those teslas definitely need it. My niece drives one and it’s way too much car for her
I think. I’m old school.
  7. Software updates that should be here by now.

There is this video on YouTube of some software updates that Rivian should have had by now. Many of them are pretty reasonable, some will be hard to do, some may not be possible at all. But I like the screen layout suggestions, like trip computer, weather, altitude, and media. These should be...
  8. Why are the Gen1 R1T so much better than Gen 2 R1S?

I notice in every promo video of Gen 2 Rivians, they always mention they are lighter, more efficient, less complex and cheaper motors/parts. No one ever said anything about being more reliable. Can’t have it all. 😕
  9. 20" Inch Goodyear Territory AT 275/60/20 Factory AT tires + saving $

I got the tires with Goodyear mobile but when they showed up he said he couldn’t change the tires because his floor jack doesn’t go up high enough. He did say he has changed tires on Rivian before. So I have to take the to a tire shop to have them installed. He did say they will refund me the...
  10. 20" Inch Goodyear Territory AT 275/60/20 Factory AT tires + saving $

Good to know. Will it have the “RIV” marked on there like the Pirellis?
  11. Denied lifting at service center due to Goat Fab rock rails sliders

I have gotten my front axles replaced and alignments done with the Goat sliders on so I don’t know if affected my SC performing work. But they didn’t mention anything.
  12. 20" Inch Goodyear Territory AT 275/60/20 Factory AT tires + saving $

Yes this method finally worked. Still got some hinderance from the site saying it doesn’t fit but I was still able to add to cart and purchase. Thanks for the tip!
  13. 20" Inch Goodyear Territory AT 275/60/20 Factory AT tires + saving $

Thanks for the link. It still showed some hinderance but I clicked the top left to search by tire size again, chose the tire specs you already picked, then it allowed me to add to cart. It still kept wanting vehicle info and said it doesn’t fit, but by still proceeding it allowed me to purchase...
  14. 20" Inch Goodyear Territory AT 275/60/20 Factory AT tires + saving $

Thanks for the research on our behalf. However I keep running into a snag on GoodYear website. I can’t seem to find that tire when I search under vehicle specs. No matter what combination of years and trims I select. What am I missing? Your link shows the tire but it says it doesn’t fit my...
  15. 20" Inch Goodyear Territory AT 275/60/20 Factory AT tires + saving $

Looks good! This is exactly the setup I’m currently trying to replicate. What has been your efficiency gains, does it look much smaller, have you gone off road, did Rivian install them for you? Any downsides you’ve noticed?
  16. Crack in roof glass - should I just leave it?

I think it serves no other purpose than to “light up the cabin” and save the manufacturer money. The negatives are plenty!
  17. Crack in roof glass - should I just leave it?

It will get worse fast but it didn’t leak for me. Cost $2500. Insurance covered only $1000 after deductible in my case. So $1500 out of pocket. Doing it thru Rivian is pricier than an authorized repair place. I would have done it that way instead of going to Service Center.
  18. Hansshow Rivian Phone Charging Pad

I heard back from the company and the quickly removed the image. It still doesn’t justify it but I’m glad they removed it. Now we’ll see if any other restitution is made. Thanks for letting me know.
  19. Hansshow Rivian Phone Charging Pad

That’s pretty unfortunate and I’m sorry to hear that. I just reached out to Hansshow to share the community’s concern, and that they should remove the image and hopefully make restitution. I’ll check back with the outcome when I hear word.
