@darkrystalR2 I have an early Gen1 so more limited the gen 2, it only works on specific highways that they've mapped out. And my guess is they don't have the logic in to detect cross traffic so they disable it when there is cross traffic on the highway.
I typically use it in my Gen 1 R1T Launch Edition from 53 & 90 in Illinois all the way up 51 to the end of the 4 lane. When it drops down to 2 lanes at mile marker 235 it cuts out. It also cuts out during the section of 51 that has cross traffic. I'm not familiar with hwy 12, but cross...
i know it is past the weekend but check plugshare for this location. I use it about 2x a month and while all the stalls work, some are limited. Usually #1 works at full speed.
That is the correct answer. A non network enabled device that uses gps and state geometries that can read the odometer of a vehicle. It then periodically queries the gps, determines the state, reads the odometer, tallies the mileage from the previous reading and allocates by state. Then...
It's both actually. You can tell when the map database disagrees with the sign.
As you drive by the sign, the speed limit on the dash changes. About a minute later it reverts back to the value in the map database.
The ML Rivian is using isn't up to par with reading signs though. It is...
In the metro areas of Illinois, for ice vehicles, you have to go in for emissions testing every year or every other year. Easy enough to record the odometer then.
The problem becomes road trips. I'd say 60% of my miles are driven in WI even though I live in Illinois.
That would require GPS...
I'd like to reiterate a little, it is the same $/mile as a car. Not a large semi luxury suv/pickup truck. People are always making this false comparison. At the time I swapped from my Ram to the Rivian it cost more than $120+ to fill up my truck. For the road trip I take monthly, the cost...
Hmm, 8/15/22 delivery. Confirmed my address a few weeks ago and nothing yet. I'm not seeing an Orders section when logging into rivian.com.
Wonder what's missing.
how soon is soonish. The area is right next to where the DNC will be. They already had some fencing up, and expect road closures. It also isn't in the greatest neighborhood either. Personally I hate the area they picked, but cheap land is cheap for a reason.
I wish they would put this stuff in writing. Seems the things Claire says don't appear in writing (previous factory capacity numbers), very annoying. If they have a written reference to production numbers and are planning to change it, those changes should be described in writing.
The...
