If I can’t run the guy over.. I’m giving my keys over. Be mindful of your surroundings and keep your doors locked while you are in the vehicle and you should be fine.. Otherwise South Africa has anti-carjacking underdoor flame throwers that you can test your luck with.
Fair enough. Last question I have noticed you guys on the Tesla forums as well but I dont see anyone really talking about your other wheels. Have you delivered any wheels to folks as of yet?
I actually like the sidewall size of the 21s over the 20s and 22s. You get more ride comfort than 22s, less tire flex than 20s in corners, and better range due to the tread pattern. So I still think the question makes sense.
I go from the Bay area to pismo literally once every couple of months. I have not run into many issues outside of busy gilroy chargers on the way back.
Possibly the least interesting vehicle that they have launched imo. Interest rates and lower trade-in values will drop the pool of people able to complete orders. I see a ton of release candidates on the road here and the only thing that amazes me is the fact such a large vehicle will not have a...
Honda should cancel all Ultium projects as they will be bad for the brand longterm. They will orphan the owners when they roll out their own platform in the next 4 years.
Both my R1S and R1T live outside. My R1S is street parked every night. I PPF'd and Ceramic coated them to avoid any issues and they have been absolutely fine.
I would love those r800s in a 21 or 22 inch variant. I love the efficiency and ride of the 21s but understand the lack of tire options is an issue for many. I cant sacrifice that much range for a cool look though.
This sucks. Texas weather really negates the cost savings over other states with this kind of risk. I hope everything works out and you are able to get it fixed. I think the roof and windshield alone are over 5k the dings and dents will need a ton of hours of pdr, I doubt it would be totaled but...
This is literally on the very bottom of my list of wants. The charging has been absolutely fine for using the 400v architecture on my last 6 vehicles..it's great.
The porpoising thing sounds like it is specific to the all terrain tires. I have the 21s and have felt non of this. My R1T is also on 21s and I have had zero handling issues other than the obnoxious turning radius on the T.
Took delivery on Thursday and dropped her off this morning for a chrome delete, stealth PPF, front window tint, and ceramic coating. I will also be removing the door badges.
Our R1T Meridian system does not sound good to me at all. It is the one gripe that I have with the car but I think it is only more obvious to me because I am driving my Tesla model S more often than the rivian and the quality difference is stark.
PDR is like magic if you hire the right person. I have used it exclusively on my past 5 cars for door dings and other small dents caused by hit an runners.
