Had the first chance to test a longer term (11 days) of drain. R1S in the garage in Georgia. No special settings. GG on but disabled at home - no events. Proximity key on but none present - all on vacation. I charged to 70% overnight as I normally do and unplugged it before I left. 11 days later...
Can confirm the new update allows you to turn on the 3rd row vents independently. There's no way to separately set the temps but you can separately control the blower speed.

"New Third Row Fan Control (R1S ONLY)
The second- and third-row seats now have separate controls for your convenince. For access, choose the temperature with the Fan icon on the center display. Then choose Middle to access the second-row...
I reached out to Kagu online. Their response:
"Rivian R1S are currently under development, no ETA.
Please check back in the next 4-6 months.
Thank you."
If you'd be so kind as to tell them, I want a mat for the cargo area that's big enough to cover behind the 2nd row but can reasonably be folded up (I'm envisioning like a crease or something where it could hinge) when the 3rd row is in use so it still covers behind the 3rd row. I'd give them my...
NO DOUBT. The meetups we've done in the past have been on the weekend. This one is when it is because of Rivian's availability and desire to get involved. I gave them the same feedback but this is when their community engagement team is in town and can do it. So we'll roll with what we can get...
For those in the Atlanta area, you're invited to join us...

THIS. Has been exactly my experience. The average consumer, unfortunately, the average EV owner, has no idea what these speeds mean and such. I tend to be friendly and make conversation. I've been getting lower speeds than what I should, I asked a driver plugged in next to me what kind of speed...
In hindsight I wish I would have set one of the trip computers so I could give a more precise number of kwh but I hadn't read as much in some of the vampire drain threads here yet! I'll know for next time.
I followed the guidance I got here. I turned off proximity and wifi but left gear guard on. Overnight temps were mid-20s one night and mid-30s the next. I lost about 3-4% total. One interesting note... It couldn't calculate battery remaining at my destination. I think it relies on cell...
What everyone has already said. Use Plug Share. Look at the overall score and confirm a few recent charges. Look at people's charging speed to avoid getting 50kw at a 350kw station. I've done a 1700 and 2800 mile road trip with no issues. Just a little pre planning and you'll be fine.
Charging from 20-80% requires 81kw. At a 350kw charger, it peaks around 220 and from 20-80 averages roughly 160 or so. That's 30 minutes. Depending on conditions, with towing being far less efficient, you might average ~2mi/kw so 81wk would carry you 162mi. Or 162mi = 30 minutes of charging...
