It looks like the total depleted in the EPA tests was 88.7kWh, so maybe a 6-8 mile buffer after zero?

4.62 mi/kWh around town and 3.89 mi/kWh on the highway when equipped with the 21" rims.

4.57 mi/kWh around town and 3.75 mi/kWh on the highway when equipped with the 20" AT rims and tires. 4% worse on the highway, and only about 1% worse around town.

Someone should check my math.

Looks like max charging rate is also officially confirmed - 210kW DCFC and 48A (11.5kW) Level 2. This is pretty much as expected.

This is described as a 2027 R2. So does it apply only to later vehicles with Lidar etc? The wording about the heat pump vs conventional AC on R2 Launch vehicles confuses me. Are Launch vehicles model year 2026?

R2 is launching as a 2027 model year. The HVAC comments confuse me too but Rivian told me that Launch Edition comes with Heat Pump.

Launch model year is most likely 2027. Rivian seems to have moved to a model year switch in middle of the calendar year (Gen 2 R1's launched as 2025 models, but that was in the middle of 2024).
