I wished they would shoot a video on how they build their kinetic suspension. Would be interesting to see.The cross-linked hydraulic system instead of conventional anti-roll bars pays big dividends here. Like KDSS but better
Looks a bit less than "competitors".Wheel articulation is looking good! ...considering this is a unibody vehicle. Of course this is not comparable to a dedicated rock crawling machine.
SeaGeo,Those ones @kanundrum posted were just what he pulled off Instagram. If you upload them to YouTube, and then share the link here it should work totally fine.
My favorite is "I don't think I like this". Sidehill stuff is what always sketches me out too, but I've never done it in a vehicle with a center of gravity as low as a Rivian. Was with a buddy in high school & we came SO close to flipping on a sidehill...he turned downhill, as you should, but we were still almost all the way down the hill before the other two tires touched dirt again. There's definitely some fun quotes in this one. I'm partial to "Go up the steep thing, go up the steep thing."
Articulation is not the end all. Lower center of gravity and decent articulation will get you just as far, although you will pull wheels in the air more often. As long as you have traction, which Rivian should have in spades, then you're good to go.Looks a bit less than "competitors".

I don't disagree at all. Just giving a comparison on articulation. Rivian has all the correct equipment to outperform the competition in most scenarios. High speed runs are where you really see the benefits of large travel.Articulation is not the end all. As long as you have traction, which Rivian should have in spades, then you're good to go.
They are hiring durability testers in Arizona
How do I apply to test these out? Looks like they had a blast in southern Utah
Now if you could just make that a part time job, and not in Arizona. ?They are hiring durability testers in Arizona

Brand awareness poll.Wow only 10% of people think the R1T will be first to market after the delays from all the manufacturers.
