Hey rivian family we are here in Nova Scotia for a week exploring. Starting from southern end and driving on RT 101, 103,107 and so on. We are not on any schedule so if you would like to see R1T in person please let us know. We would be happy to show you around. I'll be checking my messages as we have service through the day . It's our first time here so far we love it.

We're taking it day by day. Stopping at Flo chargers and getting suggestions from locals. Generally following the coast. Will post links to our YouTube videos later with more details.

There should be two Petro-Canada DCFC charging stations that should be able to provide up to 350KW, If they are fully functioning.

We tried them no go. The 1 in Stewiacke worked but only at 38kw even etron could not get it going over that. We did hard reset just to make sure it wasn't r1t. I personally would not trust them for traveling.

Haven't personally tried them, but that seems to be the general consensus regarding this network based on reviews.

At least those 50KW Flo chargers are all over Canada. If you see a Canadian Tire, chances are you will see a bank of them.

Petro’s chargers have been having hardware issues, with parts for repair being stuck on backorder. It’s been going on for their entire network.

We haven't been charging overnight. We like to stay at quiet and hidden places. But last night we end up at first campground recommended by locals and we prefer not to go to rv sites. Better views and privacy at tent sites. Thanks for the suggestion though. The Ovens in Lunenberg is a gorgeous campground.

Oh wow. Didn't know they have been having issues.
Is it a network wide issue or related to particular chargers/locations?

This is one reason I am still on the fence about going EV in Canada. Despite most of my charging needs will be done via home charging, I still do about 2000 - 3000 KMs of road trips and the Canadian EV charging network does not seem to be reliable right now.

well, today if every Single one of their chargers was physically working, it wouldn’t matter because they wouldn’t be able to process payment. Is your cell phone working? Tried using interac today?

I think by next year things will be going much better, for charging. More and more options becoming available all the time.

I would not hesitate to buy because charging network 50kw yes slow but you can get anywhere as long you have time. We are heading to gaspe next.

I have never had a problem with a CircuitElectrique charger. Now they are 50 kW it's true but that is usually plenty fast for folks on vacation.
