I love that you have the field kit as well. I added it so it was another reason we needed a Rivian to the GF. She’s a surgeon so she can actually “use” what’s in the kit. ?

Is it necessary to remove the included floormats when installing the rubber mats?

Never, ever put floor mats on floor mats. Fun way to get stuck pedals.

I got my charger yesterday. The truck delivery was Wednesday.

You always get the standard floor mats with delivery. The rubber ones are in addition.

I think you're right about one only set of mats; standard unless you order the weather mats, in which case you don't get the standard mats.
The Ops Mgr at the West Sacramento Service Center told me she wished she'd stayed with the standard mats and she thinks they're great, but she got the weather mats, also very nice, and so she doesn't have the standard mats.

Got home to find two Rivian Mystery Boxes on my porch. I guessed accessories but I had changed my configuration so many times last minute, I genuinely forgot what I ordered. I thought I ordered the gear shuttle thing, that wasn't in here.

Had no idea this was coming. Nice surprise:

Field Kit, guess I thought this was already in the truck. That must have been the first aid kit in there. Not sure I knew what a Field Kit was, but here's what's in it:

Ooooh, rubber floor mats. Ive seen some trucks posted with these. Though I've heard the fitment isn't great. I think I ordered this? Kind of don't remember. I originally had all the boxes checked and then I started taking stuff off as I heard it could delay the delivery.

I have to say, I had the Tundra OEM rubber mats in that truck and these are way better. They're super heavy duty. I have the Weather Tech in my i3 and, while those do fit amazing, those are very thin. Not sure if any of that matters for rubber mats, but these do feel quality. I'm usually not for over doing it with the logos, but the compass in yellow is a nice accent here with black interior. It compliments the door still Rivian text.

Rolled up the original mats and put them under the floor of the frunk. Seem to fit ok with the charger down there.

The floor closes flat no problem.

Here's the Field Kit in place. I had seen others saying the flap doesn't lay flat with this in here. It is sticking out about 1/2", but I suspect I could rearrange the stuff inside to fit better. Might look at that tomorrow in day light.

No. You get both. All get standard delivered with the truck, and you get the all weather shipped separately in addition. Several members have both.

Jelly! 10 days post-delivery, and only have the charger so far. I also got mats, crossbars, and bike racks. I asked my guide about ETA on the rest, haven't gotten any automated tracking emails like I did for the charger.

Same here. Guide said that we should not expect tracking information for the other accessories.

P. S. Did you get your charger installed yet?

I got a ups delivery notification for all the items, I think 2-3 separate ones.


Just got my charger installed last night. Had to run about 50 feet conduit. Started charging with 100 miles in the battery up to 70% , charged around 22 miles per hour. Maybe it will hit 25 miles if the battery is at zero? Or maybe I'm losing some because of the long distance.

They fit pretty tight in there, especially the rear mat. They don't move, they click into place.

Same boat here. Cross bars, recovery kit and floor mats. I asked my guide a couple times and all she told has me is “we try to deliver them within 7 days”
