It’s only textured to the touch if you know what you’re looking for. It’s no worse than a new c63 AMG I just saw yesterday though. OE paint is all just not great. You can correct it by clay bar and buffing but it takes forever and it’s a stupid endeavor in my opinion.Can you say more about the orange peel? Is it bumpy to the touch? How would one correct that? Is it worse than other manufacturers?
Are you saying that a light color paint has fewer defects? Otherwise, just curious why you prefer light? Thanks
I like light colors for a lot of reasons but as a rule, black shows any imperfection worse than any other color. White and light silvers tend to hide those things well. IMO they also look the best practically speaking. No one can argue that a blacked out vehicle looks great, but only before the dirt and water spots start to collect.
