When was your order invite date? I wonder if they released it to the earlier folks to gauge who's been waiting. My order invite was June 11th, the 2nd day order invites went out.

I was invited to order a week ago today. So I guess it's a second line I'm in now waiting to be invited again to order my configuration with Coastal Cloud interior -- I'm not ordering Forest Green though.

Edited first post with email I just got from Rivian saying it's an "early access" thing for a limited time currently.

I had a saved configuration for forest green and coastal cloud since my order invite on June 11th.

Just got the early access invite email at 2:50PM ET (to coastal cloud signature in my case) and ordered my R2. Reserved 3/7/2024 at 1:39 PM ET.

I got the invitation email few minutes ago to order the new colors available,
I have gen1 r1t forrest green with forrest edge interior
I want the light interior
I like launch green but will bee too much green in my driveway
I like catalina cove but i feel most r2 are that color
I like borealis but i have to wait another month
what should i do

Wait for borealis. I waited since June 11th before ordering today. Get what you want, one month extra waiting vs. having a car you don't really want for years.

Just got my notice. Placed our order 30 minutes ago - Catalina Cove with Coastal Cloud interior. Delivery time was 8-12 weeks.

Esker Silver and Coastal Cloud ordered here. Didn’t even notice if Forest Green was available to me. Gonna be the longest 8-12 weeks.

Rivian strategy unclear to me, but no complaints. I'm a first time Rivian customer, placed my $100 deposit on July 1. Got my invitation to order last Tuesday and was able to add coastal cloud to my CC exterior color today. Dropped the extra $400 this afternoon and will assume that vehicle build begins soon....
