I’ve seen some mixed messages but no one actually saying if they have tried charging their R2 on the gen 2 Tesla wall connector.
I’ve read about the dip switches to put Gen 2 into legacy mode but that seems like it might only work if you’re using a NACs to CCS,etc.
Anyone tried this yet?
Seems like gen 3 universal is the way to go but I currently have a gen 2 in place…
Follow up question would be if anyone has upgraded a Tesla Gen 2 to a Gen 3 and if the wiring set up is similar enough that I could DIY it?
my deliver is in about two weeks, so I’m trying to sort this out.
