If you go with a true A/T tire, make sure it’s load‑rated for higher operating pressures. I’ve run my Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLTs at 68–70 psi for 64,000 miles (yes, 64K). Perfect wear, surprisingly quiet for an A/T, great ride at those pressures, and overall fantastic performance. I’ll hit 70K on them.

Efficiency is only 2–3% off the OEM tires, which is basically statistical noise. Cooper has since “upgraded” the Discoverer line, not sure if it’s a real improvement or just a refresh, but the AT3 XLTs are still the best truck tire I’ve ever owned across eight 4WDs.
