A brand new one in this configuration is $61,585 from Rivian, so they only paid less than $2k above MSRP for a car with 71 miles. Not really that bad if you really wanted one.

Plus the 5% Buyer's fee... that's $66,675. And probably sales tax. No thanks; I'll order factory direct.

So he/she paid about $5k more than MSRP. I would never do that of course like you, but people have money and/or are very impatient in this world.

I'll be honest, I looked at it and registered on the site. But once I saw there was no discount, I was not interested. And my order window doesn't start until December for a Premium.

Not sure why you thought there'd be a discount. I'm sure the seller thought they would sell it at a significant premium, flipping it right away.

Another auction showed up with launch green and the 20" Black sand.

R2 Design configurator says it cost the seller $68,307. Got bid up fast enough in 7 hours that he's only take a $2k loss right now.

Edit: Says it includes a roof rack and all weather mats so it might be a slightly higher loss than that. Maybe another $1k? So total seller cost $69,313 ?
