Got my order invite (day 1 res), but want Forest Green. So I clicked "Request this Build" and the configurator now says "On the List". Hopefully the launch package is still around later this year

No, never mind. Its not there now. I wonder if they have since updated the timing displayed...

Still there for me. It changes with the options, such as color.

For example, Esker Silver shows 8–12 weeks while Glacier White shows 4-8 weeks.

Just placed my order tonight, must of been in the big batch realeased today. I actually had a Demo Drive setup and was driving to the appt when I got the text and email to order. Man I am so jacked for this car, I have a Gen1 R1T that is coming off lease on Aug 4th and they are try to marry up the end of lease, purchase of the R2, I went with Cocaine White and 21 wheels, it was exactly what I got to Demo today. I really like the way this thing drives, driving it is way more fun than the R1T IMO. I know it doesn't have all of the utility of an R1T and I love my truck, but the lease is up and that was the plan all along. I had the order placed on the R2 before I even took the lease on the R1T.

How much time allowed between receiving order invite and actually placing the order?

Anywhere from 1 second to 5 years (or whenever Rivian decides to cancel all unexecuted reservations and refund the reservation fee because there is no longer a line) - it's up to you when you submit your order after receiving the invite to do so.

Not a current Rivian owner but do live within 50 miles of Chicago.
