R2 rear wiper in action -- potential issues or FUD?

I don't know why all the rear wiper hate ... The R2 is extremely similar to my Gen3 4Runner in size and shape and design, including the rear wiper. With the shape of the vehicle, the rear wiper IS useful in certain situations, and I do use it on my 4Runner.

And if you don't find it useful, don't use it.
