Even if it is, states like MA will hold them responsible and require they honor it.Yeah, I've never heard of this either. Wonder if the LLM chatbot is making things up...
States who have moved to protect their NEVI funds or created similar funds since you know who/what?Interesting. There's nothing in the CARB EV rules that require this. Plenty of other EV makers don't provide these to buyers in CARB states. I wonder what's going on? Maybe they have a "sell CARB credits" deal with a few legacy automakers so they assume they'll sell a lot more vehicles in CARB states to "new to EV" buyers that will need these?
The same text is also in the configurator so it seems to be a thing. In my case as a first time EV owner it will be a nice inclusion since I'd otherwise need to buy them.Yeah, I've never heard of this either. Wonder if the LLM chatbot is making things up...
If it's in the configurator, then that's a whole other thing. The same text is also in the configurator so it seems to be a thing. In my case as a first time EV owner it will be a nice inclusion since I'd otherwise need to buy them.

To clarify, is it (1) state of vehicle registration? Or is it (2) state of physical delivery? Or finally, (3) state of sale? For both R1s I purchased and self registered via MCO, all 3 were different...
That’s weird. Time to make some contacts and ask for it?In NY for some reason Rivian is one of the only EV’s that doesn’t receive the $500 rebate from NYCERDA. So this is a nice gift from Rivian.
Flood them with the question of why no Rivian…That’s weird. Time to make some contacts and ask for it?
