  1. Beginning to get frustrated...

Mine SC has been ripping the truck apart to no avail. First they replaced the ting washers, then the half shafts, then the front driver side wheel hub, now they are doing the steering gears. Been there essentially since July 27th
  2. Beginning to get frustrated...

Briefly considered it, but I like the truck and we already have a 6 seater hybrid suv. I wouldn't take the risk at 3 hours each way. I would absolutely dump mine as soon as I got it back this time around before the warranty even ended if I had driven 6 hours round trip only to find the two...
  3. Jackery power station not charging off Rivian 120v plug

Honestly worked fine after I dropped the charge limit. I figured 1200W was pretty safe below the limit. Did fine using the DC out on the Jackery with the AC input. If figure this setup allows the truck to stay shut down with lower draw devices rather than running the inverter for a 60W device.
  4. Jackery power station not charging off Rivian 120v plug

Disregard, I forgot I could adjust the Jackery charging rate. Dropped it from 1600W to 1200W and it's working fine. I'll leave this up in the off chance anyone else has this specific issue
  5. Jackery power station not charging off Rivian 120v plug

Recently got a Jackery 1500Wh portable battery to use running equipment at sporting events, camping, appliance back up. I am running a BougeRV cooler off the Jackery's DC 12V port. I plug in the Jackery AC charging cable to my Rivian and it won't charge. Just clicks on, briefly shows an input...
  6. Beginning to get frustrated...

As I mentioned, if it's time to move on next spring, there's no trading up to new Rivian, too expensive even just going for a dual motor, which I'd be fine with if it wasn't still $80k+ and can't even get the interior colors if like (FE or SS)... I'm not a vehicle jumper by any means, this is...
  7. Blemishes in dashboard wood grain?

Are they depressed at all? Look like chips to me
  8. Beginning to get frustrated...

I get the concept but far too many assumptions. I bought this used for $54k cash and KBB says $44-48k. There's no scenario where I would pay full price for a Rivian, none. $80k+ is wild for these vehicles. I don't do loans either. I would probably move on to another brand at that point. If...
  9. Beginning to get frustrated...

Unfortunately yes it is making me consider that. If I was out of warranty I'd be bleeding money on a rental car for nearly a month too. I can stomach long service times when I get a free loaner that is basically the same vehicle I already own
  10. Beginning to get frustrated...

Oh and my Rivian Care inquiry was turned down...
  11. Beginning to get frustrated...

Well the update: Truckdor remains on the shop where it's been for almost a month now trying to figure out why it is clicking when I turn at low speeds. They have tried replacing the ting washers, drivers front wheel hub, half shafts, and are waiting on a new steering gear to try replacing this...
  12. 20" Inch Brake pads shot at 50k?

Is brake pad replacement the same as any other vehicle? I've done them plenty on other vehicles...
  13. 20" Inch Brake pads shot at 50k?

Holy freaking hell! $630 for just brake pad replacement is the work estimate! Someone please tell me this is DIY like a normal car or that another shop can do it??? I've done pads on all my cars before...
  14. 20" Inch Brake pads shot at 50k?

Unlikely. I'm rarely charged over 70% so plenty of battery space for Regen charging and my mom and max elevation are like 600-900' so not much holly terrain to need the extra brake force? Never heard of this. Enlighten me
