Hi all, just a heads up that the large pack capacity is actually 141kwh, not 135. They use INR21700-50G cells. 18.15wh new multiplied by 7776 cells. It was also confirmed by a blogger as stated on the actual pack. Fairly confident max pack is greater than 149 gross

Complete SWAG…maybe a good sign of confidence that they will hit delivery dates for us early preorder holders and are targeting those later date holders for retention purposes. I would accept without seeing in person at this point and I assume most are in this camp.

As a R1S customer fingers crossed there is much that was learned from R1T which is easily transferable to production ramp for S. Also, no tonneau issues. Rear seats are the only thing I can think of which may cause iteration issues.

I think the responses here are accurate, but to be more specific I don’t think ultra cold storage of a charged battery is harmful, in fact, it may preserve it more than hot conditions. I think battery damage (dendrites) form when trying to draw current when the battery is super cold. If they...
