How are on-road driving dynamics, i.e. grip in corners and such? Gotten to do any spicy driving? ATs can be "squishy" and unpleasant, though the Pirellis were surprisingly good in such use cases. I was thinking of getting the OEM (smaller) Goodyears, but these really seem to hit a lot great...
If you wanna go overkill and really protect it, check out the small Pelican clone cases at Harbor Freight. Someone on reddit is using it, so credit to them. I'm not using it myself yet.

@superfluid What's funny is that this showed up in my YouTube recommendations yesterday, and I had no idea you were featured in it! ? That park looks incredibly fun, particularly for Texas since we're so limited on offroading places! I'm going to have to go visit it. Also, the Supercharger...
@superfluid And thank you for everything! My Rivian's music is definitely improved, and I deeply appreciate the crash course on audio and the home demonstration! Wow! I think you may have hatched a new audio enthusiast ?
As noted previously, I have the Conti Terrain Contact H/T (LT) in 275/65/20. I'm currently running them @ 47 PSI due to the Pirelli 20" tires calling for that PSI. Their max stated PSI is 80. Is this the correct inflation?
Dumb question that I know has been answered before - but if I put 276/60R20 tires on my 20" rims, would I have Rivian set the vehicle to match the 21s so that the speedo and efficiency are displayed accurately?
As a data point, I have the 275/65/20 Continental TerrainContact HT. They are a very heavy tire classed with the LT designation. IIRC 5 or 6 pounds more than the stock ATs per tires? Over 4,000 miles I have not noticed any increases in efficiency. In fact I'd say that it's very slightly less...
Does this not come with built in wireless chargers? Am I correct in assuming that you have to add Apple MagSafe charger or the JSAUX one they offer? Do these slide inside the body of it or what?
Hi Superfluid! I have an R1T with the Meridians, live in Austin, and would love it to be your test bed! I'm available pretty much every weekend after mid-morning and can come to you. Just shoot me a message with what would work for you and we'll set it up :)
This is likely the "geiger counter" rattle. It's actually in the door itself even though it kind of transfers into the seat belt area. Add some adhesive velcro or fabric tape at the spot (s) in the top image and it will fix it! The lower image is of a fix for door handle rattles. I used a...
I'm moving away from AT tires due to noise issues with the Pirelli ATs at 19,000 miles (lots of tread left). Apparently Rivians do great in a lot of offroad scenarios on H/T tires, and my enjoyment of trails are limited by long distances to get said trails due to living in TX. So! I've decided...
Yes of course, but what I'm pointing out is that R.I.P doesn't know what he's talking about and that his criticisms should not be taken seriously. There's no better jack of all trades than the R1T, but no one is claiming it is the best in each category it's good at.
Just the fact that you said, "cute video" in relation to Jason Fenske's careful explanation of how the quad motor system works (and its benefits and potential) is a reason to not take you seriously. You don't even understand how/why Rivians "feel" the surface and spin tires in the air in a...
