R2 uses the "standard" type of CV Joint half shaft, should be trouble free.

Hi Sid, great post! Is there anyone at Rivian you could send it to (in PDF form)? Sometimes I think they just keep rolling along ignoring issues. At least your post would give them well documented proof of real life vehicle problems their customer face and how that impacts potential future sales...

Yeah, that tiny/narrow high pressure space saver is gonna dig in to the sand faster than a sand flea! If you got a flat on our sand, just drive out on it, then put on that bicycle tire once you hit pavement 😄

Maybe a good idea to list the repair costs so others might know what to expect, especially since there seems to be some differences in charges per SC location on common repairs.

Unless you've been screwed by arbitration previously, it's not really something most think about when purchasing a new vehicle. It's also not something Rivian or any other manufacturer advertise. You need to look for it and some don't make that easy...
