I switched from Pirelli to the Defender Platinum about 6 months ago, but I haven't used them in the snow yet. There is a post from 2022 that said they are "just ok" in the snow. I can believe that because I have wondered about the tread design. The center part doesn't look like it could grab...
Yeah...I am saying it should. I've had many cars that will alarm if a break-in is attempted or are a hard jar. With the sophisticated electronics and cameras on my Rivian, you'd think it would protect the entire vehicle and not just the gear.
Well, it happened to me while I was parked in a shopping center. Cameras were on and recording but did NOT capture the event. Hard enough hit to put a basketball-size dent in the side, but I never got a "security" alarm on my phone either. Would love to have caught the person, but nothing...
Well... just flag me as a "weirdo" because I don't like the chopped-off rear-end styles on any car. ? Where can Ma put the groceries? Is the frunk cooled? I guess loads home from COSTCO would have to go in the back seat. I might change my mind after seeing one in person. Heck, with enough...
To each his own. Personally, I like my R1T's perfect combination of tactile buttons and touch-sensitive controls. However, I do get annoyed at times when touching a control and it does not respond on the first touch.
Also, in looking at the button-bliss interior of the future VW "R1T/S...
I have a 30amp TT and plan to use my R1T to tow it. I will plug the trailer into the 30-amp plug on the campground's pedestal. Can I simultaneously plug in my R1T to the 50-amp plug in? If so, is an EV adapter needed? What amp setting in my Rivian is needed?
AMEN! I love my R1T Launch, even with some quirks. This Forum is often a "gripe board" for owners (and possibly even non-owners). I've owned more cars and trucks than I can count, and not one of them was 100% perfect. Rivian is the closest one, though. :)
Hello. I had the same issue. All I did was go to the Home icon on the top of the Center Display and selected another door, and it worked. I then selected the door I needed, pressed the thumb control briefly, and it started working again. It continues to work as it should. I dunno!
