After sitting in both I can tell you each car is distinctly their brands in a very good way. The packaging on the Rivian has more space and feels much larger inside. The BMW feels smaller and sportier. I can’t explain how impressive the digital bar screen is in the BMW. Super clear and very easy...
So I just got to sit in and demo the iX3!
I was not allowed to take any pictures since it was the training car for BMW. All the badges were covered up.
The car is very very impressive in person. The exterior looks amazing in person. The interior is phenomenal and the new display configuration...
In the history of owning my S and T I have maybe used the frunk 10 times in 3 years. It does suck that it's not powered but at the end of the day I do like the compromise.
I agree, a lot of R2 will be sold, more than the R1, but models with 21's will be = or less than the current R1 sales were. The dominant models that will sell in volume on the R2 all come standard with 19's or 20's. Only the performance and maybe the Tri will come with 21's. The P models will...

Just checked to see what my 2023 R1T QM would net and got a quote from Rivian for $49,750. Residual is $55k.
Just checked Carvana and it came back $500 less in value.
lol ill admit I was off by 6 months. Much closer than an available alternative 21 tire will be. Something you can't admit...
Anyone getting the 21 should be prepared for at min 2 year wait for an alternative. Also, strange how everyone disregards that all review cars had 20's. The ride with...
What's funny is I have friends that put a deposit 2 months ago and they want a LE... I believe they will get one in Nov. I suspect the number of people willing to take what's currently available to be about 20k total units.
It still does not matter since it took over 3 years for alternate tire options on the 21's to exist. That was my point.
I got my R1T in Dec of 23 and no option was out at that time. I got My R1S in May of 24 and still no tire option, this is why I went with 22's on the S. I am just saying...
