For Ford, they announced them, I registered same day about 11AM or something, July ship date with first dates shipping now, first come basis. By close of business they were telling people they had unknown delivery times.
This thread is a campaign against wearing wedding rings in society, it's no one's business who is married and who isn't.
Easy to say this as a man, I do understand the, "leave me the fuck alone" bat signal thing for women, which, I'll let them argue the merits for or against. ;)
Oh yeah well lots of people have egg on their face right now. A lot of politicians ran one way or the other on this, fought hard for/against. There's Georgia drama underneath the national cheering for sure.
You think that's how it went down? I kind of think Rivian dodged a bullet with the drop in demand. I actually think the people of Georgia have good reason to be pissed off. At both sides. There's a whole other thread where we're hashing this out.
As far as car companies go, Rivian has least of...
You may get your wish if it's in the bumper as speculated on elsewhere on this thread. Could have redundant break lights on the bottom and the amber on the sides. Seems like there's 4 slits for tiny lights at the bottom perhaps?
Seeing the video here, I'm not seeing any accommodation, my guess...
It's a bit apples and oranges. Tesla targeted the most traveled places, Rivian targeted the least traveled places. In fact I kind of feel like they're forcing some of these east coast chargers to fill out the map against that ethos. I actually consider this to be a good roll out considering...
Nice! How full were the chargers? Here out east I find myself pulling up to like 20-pylon large installations where I'm the only one, midday. I find myself saying to people a lot that Rivian needs to open it up but I realize I'm completely ignorant to the experience out west where so many more...
I understand, I didn't say the fiscal civil war was over. If Rivian stays a niche brand instead of becoming a worldwide automaker of repute, is that 400,000 unit factory still going to be appealing?
Ah-hah! Now we're talking where my hands on experience lay. I've spent the past 24 years in...
These decisions aren't binary based on single factors. Coupled with the reasons you're stating, to an unknown degree is the subsidy packages. Not a minor degree, unknown degree. Now you might say, "but it's great for Illinois!" well is it? How is Georgia feeling right now about it's $1.5 billion...
You're missing the point. Georgia booming means a place previously that was booming is now not. The movie industry didn't just pop up in Georgia out of nowhere. That place that was formerly booming was already subsidizing industry. That industry likely used the area to its maximum abusive end...
Flip side to that is they charged me $550, I didn't pay it, they sent one bill that fell through the cracks and I haven't heard from them and I no longer own the vehicle.
So sorry to hear about your trouble but this could come up in your favor too. Everyone gets to spin the wheel of chance!
