I do really like the look but I have to ask, and Im not trying to be a smart ass, but how do you get stuff like bird poop off of the car? It seems like it would need a little extra elbow grease.

I'm with you jkathlon. I typically side with OEM is best. It would be nice to know their plans for a winch as well. My guess is that no meaningful options will be available anytime soon as they are focused on pushing trucks out of the door.

I’m not real versed on how reservation holders get access. However, I’m not sure why the shop exists. It’s hard to believe that vehicles in the shop do not align with any reservation holders configuration. Perhaps none that live close to a service center?

I’ve seen multiple time where individuals with a guide but no shop access have seen their configuration become available. Thanks to this forum, Once they inquire with their guide, they are granted access and purchase their truck. To me, that makes no sense. Shouldn’t this be done through...

I see those who are posting R1S shop inventory and I have to ask....Why is inventory available when many have not yet received their R1s? Many times a truck with their exact configuration is available in the shop. It was my understanding that Rivian was focused, currently, on producing vehicles...

Good news to those who care. I recently got an email back from my guide and my original configuration was altered appropriately. Hopefully I will be able to pick up the SUV soon as it is estimated for May-June.

Thats a good question. Personally these things do not bother me as they are minimal. I do like Rivian and I want them to succeed. It just feels like they constantly overlook those who have early reservations.... and its frustrating !
