Saw someone with a bunch on the underside of the hood - I thought that was a pretty cool idea too.

Good start! I'm not a designer, far from it, but I do think if we incorporate a background in the logo, it should be representative of an iconic landmark or something from Orange County. Just not Mickey Mouse.

Perhaps the OC Great Park orange balloon in the background? Especially since Rivian's HQ is in Irvine.
