I just got a new bigger rooftop tent and realized I either need to add a third cargo crossbar to my R1S or get a full roof rack like the Prinsu or Prospeed. I'm guessing I'll be happier with the full roof rack, but ship times for both are too far out for a camping trip I have in 3 weeks. So with that, I have a couple ideas, and I'm curious if anyone locally could help me out.
1. Can I just borrow/rent a crossbar from someone? I'll likely get the full roof rack eventually but need something to get through this upcoming trip.
2. Can I go in on half a crossbar kit if someone else here also needs an extra third bar for an R1S?
3. Does anyone have a Prinsu or Prospeed rack that they're looking to sell me used and I could pick it up in the next 3 weeks?
Obviously I'm in the bargaining stage of my plan, but if anyone here is able to help me out, that would be awesome!
