Hope everyone is doing good! Have had my R1T for 14 months and 18k miles. I am working on creating an Indy Rivian Club through the Rivian Clubs of America. Would love some help and help others in the area if there are questions about their Rivian or trying to get in one.

Would love to do an event soon and ultimately would love to do something with IMS as this is what we are known for… well that and corn lol.

I see where there are 13 members signed up for the Indy club page. I am up in Carmel and it’s getting to the point where I pass another Rivian quire frequently when I am out and about so I am guessing that there are many more than just 13. What I would like to see is a monthly visit from the Rivian mobile service vehicle. I don’t have anything pressing but I did get a message about my wiper wiring harness that needs to be looked at and it’s not worth driving 2.5 hours to Normal, Chicago or Cincy. Has anyone had mobile service here in town?

I have used mobile service to do a tire rotation, and the Rivian service person actually lives in Indy. I would schedule something through service and see if they can fix your issue remotely.

Thanks, I will try that. Last time I called service we got disconnected and the return call was from Greenwood so hopefully there is help nearby

Is the SC in Ft Wayne up and running? I hear they will be opening a SC in Indy - is that correct?

@Hayseed_MS Picked up my R1S in Ft. Wayne on 9-20. They are open for deliveries and mobile service only at this point. They need to hire a service manager and more techs before they can be a fully operational service center. The delivery specialist there thought it would likely be a couple months before they are up and running. Apparently, they were only supposed to be a "micro" service center but due to demand they are going to expand the operations there.

Last I heard it was not open yet and this would be the first time I have heard of them opening a SC in Indy. That would be really nice.

I just picked up my R1S from Fort Wayne. They said Cincy would be the closest service center. Not opening one in Indy yet but there is one mobile tech in Indy that is available to do small jobs. Not very promising so far.

They are working on opening a service center in Fort Wayne. Wish they would open one in Indy but should have one closer this year.

@rookford They actually just CLOSED the Ft. Wayne service center. I was supposed to pick up my new R1T there a couple weeks ago, got redirected to Cincy.

I had Ralph out yesterday to check out my R1S after a trip to the body shop for damage repair. He mentioned that the Fort Wayne service center was just operating a night shift to service Amazon delivery vehicles at the moment. They are trying to staff up to be open for retail clients and service in the future. Those of you that don't know Ralph yet he is the Indy based Rivian mobile service tech. His cell is (317) 601-6997, great guy and says he can fix 80% of any issues you might be having with your R1. Highly recommend you add his cell to your contact list.

I keep watching in the hopes that Fort Wayne opens for more general service... has anyone heard any more information? Dates when it might be open to more than just Amazon vehicles?
