@HighVoltOverland Did you find any special pricing? Everything points to $350 for two days and nights, and if sold out maybe day passes will be available.

guess I'd need to find a "nearby" RV campground to overnight on Wed PM in order to participate in the Thurs trail ride. I'd love to take my OBi Dweller adventure camper but don't want to leave SD like 3AM Thurs. Wonder if there's a way to secure that some plot of 30'x20' on Wed in order to dry camp onsite that evening.

For a bit of clarification:

KOH can be done for free
There is a very specific ev only group ride/ experience that optima is offering.

If you don’t want/care to participate in the EV specific stuff/ don’t see yourself wanting the additional amenities you can still participate in most of the king of the Hammers stuff directly and buy a cheaper ticket for just KOH. They offer a camping pass in “HammerTown” for 50-100 bucks.

If that is still too much you can still camp for free in areas that are a bit further from KOH, but Johnson valley itself is BLM and supports dispersed camping
