I built some custom stops and a roller at the very edge to hold the weight. It also has a grove cut perfectly in the bottom to slide down and ride on the latch of the door that sticks up. That helps keep it straight when fully extended and if a ton of weight is put on the end the door helps hold it so no kick stand needed.

Pretty sweet kitchen setup. But the real question is how did you attach the kid to the crossbars?! 😂

My camp kitchen and tailgating kitchen are much the same...

I have the BougeRV CRD2 52-QT Dual Zone fridge - Filled with beverages on the big side and very cold beer and some "big boy" ice cubes on the smaller side:

A couple other things in the photo above include my pop-up trash can and a pop-up recycling can. Hidden behind the Fritos in the upper-right corner you'll see a small crock pot filled with queso.

My primary camp work surface is the Sylvan Sport Dine O Max Camp Kitchen (currently on sale for a VERY reasonable $239.97). It's a great design and folds up into a case that's basically the size of the backsplash and about 6" wide:

Features I love include:
  • Pull out sink holder on the left (I replaced the sink that came with it with a collapsible silicone sink
  • The shelves underneath are really handy for storing appliances and pots/pans
  • To the right of the drawers is another fold-up that will hold a trash bag on the right side (I don't use it tailgating, but do when I'm camping)
  • You can see my yellow immersion water heater on the bottom shelf - I put that in the tan water holder so I have hot water coming out the pump at the sink (it really makes doing dishes a lot easier)
  • I use the Nuwave Gold Induction Burner for cooking primarily because there was a case available for it
  • Behind the pot on the left is a collapsible .7L silicone kettle with a temperature knob so I can heat water without necessarily bringing it to a boil (for hot chocolate)
  • While I didn't use it this past weekend, I also have a Blackstone 22" Electric Griddle (with case) that I bring depending on the menu
For additional cooler space, I use the BestEVMod soft sided cooler that fits perfectly in the bottom of the frunk:

Somehow I don't have a live photo, but for watching the games while we tailgate I have a 50" LG TV. I went with the LG over the Samsung because I was able to add two rechargable Bluetooth speakers (one in each back corner of our canopy) for additional sound while watching the games. This past Saturday the Penn State game was at 7pm and we arrived in the lot to start tailgating a little before 9am so we watched a lot of college football before heading into the stadium. I use a Starlink (with the 50GB/month Roaming plan - plus $1/GB if I exceed it). I've found that I use 20-25GB per day with streaming (and all of our guests connected to the wifi) so it works for me. Here's the TV in the back of the R1S:

To power everything, I use a Bluetti AC180 (currently $409) that gives me 1800W and a peak of 2700W. I keep the Bluetti plugged into the Rivian (with its very low 1500W maximum). If the Rivian outlets trip because I've exceeded the 1500W the Bluetti continues powering things until I get around to resetting the Rivian outlets. I do use the Bluetti app to monitor where it is in terms of power (because I keep the Bluetti behind the TV in the Rivian). I'm contemplating upgrading to the Bluetti Elite 200 unit (currently $699) with 2600W (peak 3900W) because 1800W just isn't enough when I'm using the Blackstone and other devices. If Rivian EVER comes out with a decent V2L system (like the Jeep Wrangler 4xe Power Box) I'd be all over it - I'd love to have a couple of "real" outlets without the 1500W Rivian inverter limitation and then I could leave the Bluetti home.

We don't take the Starlink or TV when camping, but pretty much everything else is the same. I hope this helps someone!

Cheating w my Tune M1 topper. Microwave is a Toshiba microwave/broiler/oven/air fryer combo - quietest microwave I've ever (not) heard. Powering everything off a GoalZero 1500W power station fed from 2 solar panels. Anker Solix EverFrost 2 58L fridge/cooler. Rinsekit Pro water heater. Currently just using a collapsible sink. Duxtop induction cooktop. Set up so the microwave can be accessed from outside if I set up outside under awning. Still playing around with layout, adding "permanent" storage is next.

Which Toshiba microwave model is that? I saw one that pulled 1750W and that's a lot for my setup. I love the idea of a combo microwave and air fryer...thanks!

Wow ya'll have really nice setups!

Mine is EXTREMELY simple: extension cord, camp table(s), InstaPot, and an electric hot water kettle and milk frother for the morning latte.

It pulls just under 1000W. I have a good friend who's a sailor who suggested it, as they are also looking at how to maximize capability with minimum space and power. I love being able to toast a bagel in the morning after heating the milk for my coffee. It's replaced the regular microwave in my kitchen when not out wandering around with me on some adventure.
Yeah - that seems to be the perfect balance of functionality and power consumption. Thanks!
