Sizing wise it matters. So yes the official pixelSnap chargers or apple magsafe ones are the only ones that will fit. I have some other ones in route to me now. As long as they don't suck, we will begin selling them.
Yikes. $40 each. I went with the pixel snap ones since they look like they provide more power. Are the pixel snap and magsafe pucks really the exact same dimensions?

Like what was shown in the video they sit slightly proud vs the magsafe .6 mm to be exact. You won't be able to see it, but you can feel it with the mat.

We are going to have an extended video for Gen1. Its basically identical but you need to run it through the firewall. Pictures Attached.

Order placed. Would love at least routing through firewall (is it still called that with no engine?). Will plan to install next week as it’ll be getting cold in the Northeast. And thanks!

Yeah. I can take a picture of my eq later but I basically dropped the lowest setting by about 6 clicks and the next up by like 3.

Picture of the finished install is above.

Will a kit be available to upgrade the subwoofer in the R1S? Is it a similar procedure?

Working on a R1S kit. It's actually easier. It may need a ring for the install but other than that it would be an install video and wiring kit.

10" sub too on the R1S.

This is a fair price for the box and wiring.

I made my own that is near identical. It cost about $75 in materials and at least four hours of labor to DIY.

Should be possible to cut the hole bigger and put in a JL 10 TW1 (that's what I used). Volume will be right for it.

Definitely a massive upgrade from the Meridian "sub".

Yeah pricing this was extremely hard. We found a balance here to get it into people's hands. We'll see how it goes in the long run.

You did better than me on my initial build. I was around $100 with wood and wiring.

You can fit a 10" if you modified my box or if I designed for it. But I've always found optimizing for volume created a much better and cleaner sound.

Also I find modern 8" subs to hit better than old 10" and it's plenty of grunt for me.

Since David (other half of Soonish) still has his Gen1 we are doing the install on his truck. Should be within 2 weeks.

I installed the system on my Gen1 before I traded it in. Works beautifully with the Meridian System.
Looking forward to the gen 1 video. I miss deeper bass.
This is the first vehicle I've had without adding an aftermarket subwoofer, but that's about to change thanks to you guys! :)

And another suggestion - I know that sound test videos are mostly useless but I still think potential customers would like to see it in action along with the fine tuning and EQ settings on the screen.

Gen1 is soon. Hard to show off differences in EQ.

But here's a picture.

Nice, well done. I've been running my own DIY in an open port setup for the JL Audio 8W3v3-4. I'm considering adding your box.

I know you mentioned JL Audio 8W3v3-4 would fit your box, but I'm curious, does it have enough top clearance to add a cover from the OEM sub? I've hacked it off the old "sub" and it looks well to make it seem like nothing is there. Thanks

Which amp are you using for the 3v3? The Kicker 46CXA8001 seems like a good match with the same dimensions as the 4001 - only thing is that it would require 4AWG and 80A fuse instead of the 8AWG and 40A fuse.

@Sojhinn would it be possible to have another kit option with the thicker wires if/when you can confirm that that JL Audio 8W3v3-4 would work with your enclosure? Or at least an option with only the signal adapter wire if providing a full other set is too much trouble?
