I LOVE my R1S!!!!!!!

Just wanted to share that the Green Machine was in service for 2 days because of the headlight recall and a tire rotation. Rivian service took care of me and provided me with a Durango as a loaner. Having driven the Durango for the last two days I was really missing my R1S. I know its more expensive and I am spoiled but it is just such a different thing to drive not only the R1S but an EV. Every time I get behind the wheel of a gas car I am happy I don't do it often.

Rivian Iselin Service was amazing, long live the Rivian brand.

The quality of vehicle you get as a loaner just depends on the quality of the Enterprise that Rivian sends you to; what they have available. When I arrive at the Enterprise I scan the lot and select what I think what would be the best comparable vehicle to the R1S. Unfortunately often times there is never a comparable. I’ve never been turned down by Enterprise and told I cannot rent a certain vehicle. That’s usually because the best on the lot is a Ford Expedition or Jeep Grand Wagoneer.

I have a Cayenne S for my wife. I used to think it was the ultimate. Now I hate driving it in the city.It feels like such a slug. I have to admit that the Cayenne dominates highway driving though. You can cruise at 90+ at 24 mpg for 6+ hours if you want. It still our long haul option.
