Why aren't the A pillars wrapped? Is it an option? IMO, it would look much better.

The mantra so far has been that we'll wrap whatever would change colors if you change the color in the Rivian configurator...so if you were to get a Forest Green Rivian, the pillars will not be green but still black...if people request it, I can do it though, we already have clear PPF model for them so with a little expansion and pressure relief cuts for the corners, it can turn into a color wrap version of it.

I don't think that's part of his kit at all. This was a point of discussion in my household and with my friends. Most people thought that leaving it black would be better. I'm not a fan of the black top/color bottom that is popular now, but I think it works here. But, I have more of the PPF and can do a quick test! Hell, I can use the other red, that we considered and didn't use, and have a test of how that looks. Sounds fun.

Also the A pillars are identical between the S and T so I can develop it on mine and it will work on both...as I said if more people request it I will do it... might do it as an experiment on mine, see how I like it.

As we come to the end of this adventure, minus waiting a few weeks for new badges, my final video...

This is a trip vlog style, mostly mundane/boring/whatever. There are chapter markers so you can skip to areas of interest like color comparisons. Mostly me narrating interesting bits of my road trip.

I sat around with a few friends on Friday and asked them about this. Everyone agreed that the a-pillar being wrapped would be a detractor, not good. The visual logic is that the black b-pillar and tinted windows all blend well into the windshield.

I considered cutting a piece of PPF to test, but just did this...

Also, this was our second-choice PPF color. In direct sun, not on the vehicle, it looks the same as the base color. But it has far far less color variation as you move it around. So I'm far happier with my choice now.

I disagree with this logic - look at all the four-door Porsches with black b-pillars. And practically all the premium four doors on the market look like these.

The lack of tinted windows is probably key here and you ignored it. Also, some of those Porsches are ugly as hell. Anyway it's likely that I'll cut and try a piece, and likely that all my neighbors were right.

That's your opinion, but to say those Porsches are ugly as hell is just hateful speech. Tinted windows have nothing to do with it.

Well sure, some of them are ugly as hell, the station wagons in particular, even if you tint the windows. But I’m bored right now and might do an A-pillar wrap test.

Don't do it. You might like it too much! 😁
