My Gen1 R1S won’t let me sign into Apple Music. Anyone else having this problem?

Three days ago my R1S signed me out of Apple Music and it won’t let me sign back in again. I have scanned the QR code and signed in with Apple. Apple says I am signed in on my iPhone but my Rivian says “Subscription not Found. Please subscribe to Apple Music in another device”. I’ve rebooted the display numerous times and even did a full reboot. I also tried not using the QR code and signed in the web address and code. Anyone experiencing this? Is this an Apple thing or Rivian thing?

Mine was doing that too. I hit login with another account to reset the QR code and did the login. That worked for me.

Same issue 2-3 days ago. Had to RE-do the QR code route as well.

Apple Music is lacking with Rivian compared to Tesla unfortunately. The Rivian app often crashes or loses its way/forgets what you were listening to and is just greyed-out on the right slide-out window of the center display.

Same. Will try the get a new code to login trick and see if it works. IMO, the infotainment is pretty, but it's still one of the weakest links in the vehicle.

What worked for me after 10-12 failed QR scans was pressing “sign into another Apple Account”, which somehow kicked me out of the death loop and the next time I tried I got right in.

Confirming ToneyR answer worked for me as well. Log in as another account and use the usual login and password as a “new” account.

Yep, CDC_73 and ToneyR are correct. While the Apple Music Rivian death loop can be frustrating, we now know how to end it.
