12V power for a sub in a 2025 R1S?

Hi - I’m almost finished with my subwoofer install on my 2025 Gen 2 R1S, except I can’t find a switched 12V power source??? Older R1S vehicles have a different wiring harness in the spare tire well (ref. the Alpine sub install), and I don’t seem to have the fuse box like the Gen 1. I’ve tried tapping the trailer brake power, but the ‘smart’ electrical computer dumbs the voltage down to 5V when I connect the amp load to it. I need a good source I can tap and put a fuse on it and run a good size wire to the amp. Appreciate any advice.

I installed a powered sub in my 25 R1T and just pulled 12v directly from the battery under the passenger seat. Pulled the signal off the right rear passenger door lower speaker by tapping into the wire behind the b pillar trim by the floor. Amp senses if there is voltage on the signal wire and turns itself on/off, no switched source needed.

Had it installed for over a month, no vampire drain so it's working as intended so far.

I think you can get a stand along device to do the same if your amp doesn't do signal sensing on/off.

Either of the yellow-white or white-yellow wires in the spare tire tub on the passenger side upper wiring harnesses are switched 12v. I used the upper wire (white with yellow stripe) into my LC2i Pro that feeds my JL MX500 amp in my 2025 R1S...
