Looking to replace OEM 20" Pirellis.
Do the specs noted match OEM, and for those who already have them on their rig, what is the PSI recommended to match OEM specs/Efficiency.?

Thank you all in advance.

Just ran these for 7 months. Had a really hard time balancing them (6 tries) so I got them swapped out for the new Toyo AT3 EV tires after 6000 miles.

They are very heavy tires compared to the OEM Pirellis (~65lbs vs. 48lbs? or something like that). I ran mine anywhere from 55psi to 60psi.

Helpful, because my tire search part two will be underway here shortly. I'm sure it is listed somewhere here already, but what do the AT3 EV tires weigh?

Mine are at 52psi. Not sure yet on efficiency hit as I had them installed when my efficiency had already dropped a little due to winter/cold weather.

Yeah pretty sure this has been posted before but...

OEM size 20"s:

Pirellis: 48lbs
LT AT3 EVs: 55lbs
LT KO3s: 61.6lbs

I’ve got around 10k miles on my stock size K03’s running at 55psi…i went from right around 2.0mi/kwh with the OE 20” Pirellis to 1.75 - 1.8mi/kwh with the K03’s

I'm running KO3's tires at stock size on 20" wheels. So far, zero issues. 48 psi all around ?

Based on my experience after 5000 miles on my KO3s I think the efficiency hit is about 10-15 percent. I’m running mine at 52 psi. It has, however, been great to be rid of the loud whine emitted by the Pirelli OEM tires as they aged. I’ve now driven the KO3s in rain and in snow and they get a thumbs up in both conditions. It has been very cold here in Connecticut recently (teens and single digits) and you’ll see some truly miserable efficiency results (e.g., 1.3 m/kwh) until the truck warms up when it’s that cold outside.

Any issues with the balancing?

Same for me. Ko3 on for about 5k on R1S and went from 2.0 to about 1.75 to 1.8. Balanced fine and drives fine. Feel a bit slower but good trade off if you are offroad or in snow frequently.

I’ve ran K02’s for years on my 4Runner and they were tough as nails but heavy! Loved them!

After reading about the new Nitto Terra Grappler G3 and weighing 47.5lbs and engineered to be quiet it is the front runner for my tire replacement coming up. It’s not an LT tire like the K03 but strong enough as the OEM tire and I don’t take the efficiency hit.
