For those who don't know what UWB phone key is, it's a different technology that is supposed to be more reliable than the Bluetooth Key. It lives in your Apple/Google wallet. It's supposed to work even if your phone is dead, by tapping it to the door handle like a key card.
Bluetooth is used for Gen 1, Almost all Tesla vehicles until this year, etc.
Gen 2 is equipped with UWB, but there is next to no information out there on what it is and what devices are even supported. Is it even live yet, or are we still waiting on an update to turn it on? Do we know what Android devices are supported beyond "some pixels"?
