Has anyone with a leased Rivian checked trade-in value and compared with the residual value according to the lease terms? I'd be curious to see how those figures compare.

They offered $62,200 for my 2023 R1T Quad/large pack/white interior/20" wheels with only 3,600 miles on the odometer. Paid $75,600 for it in Jan 2023, I did get the full $7.5K Fed tax credit for it so real cost before taxes was $68,100.

These are pretty reasonable prices given what they’re retailing for. I hate to break it to everyone but the days of low supply and inflated prices are long gone and the days of rapid EV depreciation are upon us.

Yeah, most of the prices posted in this thread are respectable for a trade-in. 22 R1T's aren't selling retail in the 60s anymore.

Tested this on my old R1T with 13k Forest edge/all terrain package/14 months old = 57k. I'd say that's pretty low but the whole car market and especially EVs with the Tesla-price war has made a major and much needed correction in the last 12 months. About 35% depreciation for a little over a year.

I'm currently looking at extended range lightnings and they can be had used with low miles for 45k.

For $#!+$ and giggles i put mine in this morning , just to see. 2024 Dual Motor Performance standard+ with 3k miles, but purchased with a pre-order voucher . Nothing yet.... either way, the Gen 2 equal is too expensive for me now.

Vehicle values degrade at levels similar to an Electrify America charging curve in Nevada. Buy what you want and drive it. It's not an investment.
