Change down payment after clicking "accept this offer"?

I've been approved for a Rivian Lease but I may choose to put more money down than I entered into the lease calculator.

Does anyone know if the down payment amount can be altered after clicking "accept this offer"?

Yes it can. You have to notify your sales person or local service center to make this adjustment. It will change your lease payment, and in your profile you’ll be required to accept the offer again.

On a similar note, I chose an R1S from the shop two weeks ago. The car is in transit and I just noticed that the lease payment went down a little. Am I locked into the lease payment when I selected the R1S or can I request the lower payment since I didn't take delivery yet?

Yep, it did not quite "calculate" the trade in value of my car properly and we were later able to "adjust" the figures with the Rivian folks.

My experience was the the estimate on the store was different than my actual payment. I chose the right credit score and used the same inputs, and my actual lease amount came in higher by $14 per month. No one could explain it to me. Was not worth the headache to try to figure out. I kept getting the response "The website says it is just an estimate."

I would not put any money down on a lease. My opinion is, if I can't make the payment stress-free without putting money down, the lease is too rich for me.

As for the lease payment estimate they give, mine ended up being about $40 dollars less than the estimate.
