Wow, there are some incredible deals on here. I get that they are "new" used, but with full warranties and some prices below $65k and tax credit eligibility? Sheesh, that's hard to turn down.

I could buy the exact trim truck I sold 9 months ago with less miles and still have $10k in my pocket from that sale. Pricing is pretty good.

Do we know why these states are excluded?
Yes. Various state laws in play. Not Rivian's fault. I bought one of these today. Traded my R1T to them. Was a good deal. Got a fair offer on mine and a nearly new truck for over $20,000 less than a new one. Plus will have cheaper insurance because purchase price is less and mine qualifies as "new" under IRA (checked with my tax guy not Rivian) so get $3750.

SO they can't add a "Available" and "Location" filter to this site?

No talk of them not being available in Canada... Was anyone able to gleem anything?
I searched but also didn't see anything about Canadian availability. I'd pessimistically suspect (but definitely don't know for sure) that they won't send across the border (for any number of reasons), and that our local demo models are too new to put on the block yet. At these prices though, man, I would have definitely snagged an R1S. If available at direct conversion USD to CAD, the price would be under 100k CAD which saves you the luxury tax, and gets close to cheaper competitors (EV9s in Canada appear to be much, much cheaper than in the US, for example). I bought my Model 3 as a demo and not only saved a preposterous amount of money but was able to get a config that was no longer sold (long-range, rear wheel drive) which was icing on the cake.

Another bonus - some insurance policies offer a rider in the case of a total loss (write-off) that allows you to claim the value of a brand new replacement vehicle of equal specifications for a set number of years, but only if you take possession below a certain mileage (for me it was 10,000km).

Try ordering one? (I'm not allowed)

I wonder if they'll sell to whoever, what do they care if TFX or whoever shows up to collect the thing and bring it to Canada?

Congrats on the deal! So the $3750 was not applied at the point of sale?

To my knowledge Rivian doesn't do that except on the lease because they have too (or nobody gets it). But I guess I didn't ask them about it either. Just covered my quarterly estimate so I got it immediately either way.
