Thanks! There was a similar group of confirm emails that went out in 11/22 when I got mine and I’ve seen quite a few who have taken delivery already. I’m ready (mentally) to get busy once I get that 8 steps email. If it takes longer I’m fine with that too. Lots of people have been waiting way longer than I have.

I likely got my confirm email around the same time as you and also don’t have a vin yet. I emailed y guide yesterday about possibly having it in time for a road trip early February. She pretty much said don’t hold your breath.Awesome! To put things in perspective, I was also a 12/21 order and I got the confirm email in 11/22 and was assigned a guide. I still haven’t gotten my VIN but according to my guide he’s expecting it s00n

Ouch. Both of your trucks are probably in that batch of nearly 4k built but not delivered yet.
I get the impression after that October window update that Rivian was making an effort to get in front of their actual production schedule and make the vehicles pepole had ordered vs making batches of whatever and dumping half of them into the R1 shop. So my take away was that I might have to wait longer than those who had previously received that confirm email. Which is fine with me. If you are in a hurry I do know some who asked for shop access and got it almost immediately.
I’ve thought about asking for shop access but I’m not in a huge rush and would prefer to get the build I want.
