FORD Raptor, Soon to be R1S
Okay- I'm cautiously optimistic, but just might be receiving my R1S Adventure soon. Part of of me thinks it might be a mistake, but if not, all signs are pointing in the right directions.

I originally had an R1T on order and switched back and forth from the T to S a couple times (okay a lot). I had access to the R1 shop (T's) and almost pulled the trigger a few times. We decided the S is what the family needs, so I left it at that. Last month I sent an email to Rivian asking a question, and i got a reply from a Guide. Didnt think anything of it, and then one day recently I decided to ask my guide, if they were my guide. She replied yes, and apologized, because I should have gotten an intro email (I didnt). So we were chatting and she
said my deliver should be soon, " You are already in the selected fulfillment stage, which means you will likely be pulled soon. " Okay, getting excited...asked again, possibly this year? She replied : "Your delivery timeline is set for November-December of 2022, so I'm rooting for it before the end of the year! :)"

More excitement.. the next day (17th), received an email titled: "A Seamless Process to Purchase Your Rivian"
When i go into my account, I cant make any changes, says to contact my guide. Still showing my R1S on the screen and everything looks good.
Today's email : " Prepare for the Digital Purchasing Process"

All is good over here, and im thinking maybe this is really happening soon, and there are R1S's ADV packages coming this year....trying to contain my excitement.

I started looking on the forum and saw how to go into the dev code and see what my status is.
":"VEHICLE","fulfillmentSummaryStatus":"PENDING_FULFILLMENTUS","currency":"USD","country":"US","vehicle":"R1S","

Is it okay to get excited? I should be getting an 8 step email soon, right?

I think you should be excited. I'd love to be in that same boat. Can you share your pre-order year/month?
2/21
I may have mixed up the system going back and forth so much. My R1T est delivery day was Nov/Dec of this year too. I asked if I switched to OC would that put it into next year and the answer was yes.

What is your config? Interior color is particularly important these days, it seems.

Would also be interested in what your guide says about Tony Caravano's Reddit AMA, in which he said that Adventure deliveries would start next year.

Also, congrats! Even if it may make us LE holders grumble...

It was around 6 weeks from the point you are at now to me sitting in my truck. My guide told me that when you get that email you're in the build queue and the whole combination takes about 8 weeks between rounds which means you'll have the 8 steps most likely within 8 weeks depending on when your config is built.

Yeah, we really wanted OC, but with 3 kids ....decided against it. That, and the wait.

You better confirm they're offering you the R1S, not the R1T. With all that switching back and forth between the T and S, I wouldn't be surprised if they somehow got your current configuration mixed up. I hope I'm wrong, but it seems strange they would be offering a 2/21 adventure R1S order this early.

I agree 100%, and part of me thinks it's a mistake. Looking through the code earlier, I could only see R1T stuff, but after combing through the entire thing, I found where it had the R1S in there.

Like I said, cautiously optimistic, because I can def see them coming back and saying ...oh the system still shows R1T, and thats why...in which case, I'll let everyone know it was a mistake.

Congrats! Nice config choice. I would imagine if you're in the queue now it will be a launch edition. Rather than wishing that was me, I'll just be happy for you, maybe the positive energy will lead to a "confirm config" email for me. Enjoy the process and please keep us posted
