I just picked up my truck after having the full front covered in PPF. I started the process by filling out the form on Xpel's website for the "Rivian Package." I was contacted by my local Xpel installer within a few days. This was the first Rivian install they performed. I ended up upgrading the film from the standard 8mils thick to 10 mils. It was an extra $300 (so $1800 total). I also had the top body panel on the tail gate covered for an additional $200 and the front windows tinted for another $130.

I'm really pleased with how it turned out. Yes it was cut using the Xpel template and not perfectly hiding all of the edges, but no complaints. Definitely worth the piece of mind with all of the gravel on the roads in Colorado. I have typically paid close to $2500-$2800 for a similar install on other vehicles. So it was definitely a good deal.

The installer was excited to see his first Rivian and has his second coming into the shop tomorrow. Sounds like a third is coming in next week. They were definitely happy to get the referrals from Xpel.

Edges along the hood and top of the fenders are folded/wrapped over the edge. I can't figure out what they did on the hood emblem. There are no edges. They also wrapped the gloss black section of the bumper in black wrap instead of clear bra. They thought it would hide small marks better.

UPDATED WITH CLOSEUP EDGE PICS:

Pics with close ups please.

Do they remove the hood emblem or cut around it?

Good to hear. I filled out the form for the package on the website too a few days after I got my truck at the beginning of the month. Crickets. There are only 3 installers all around 1 hour from where I live. Guess I need to start calling the individual shops to see if they are participating.

Thanks for posting about your experience. I hope it’s fairly consistent across all the participating shops. There was a thread weeks ago from one of the first to have this done and the installer screwed up and didn’t even appear to use the proper templates (According to the Xpel people who post here).

Great idea, TWRAPS should add this piece. Thanks for the post and pics.

I've filled the form out a few times thinking maybe there was a form submission error. Crickets here too. Nothing in spam folder either.
I'm in the same boat as you. Nearest installer is about 20 minutes away, after that they're all at least an hour or more. Guess I'll have to reach out as well and start doing some research on the shops since there's so few.

It took 3-5 days for the local installer to reach out.
