Not too shabby looking to me.

Always nice to see more EVs coming too.

Hopefully they won't pull a bizforks/Soltera and it will have decent specs

I get the Bz/Solterra skepticism, I was very disappointed when the Bz was released as I was hoping for a better/more aggressive product, but I met 3 people who test drove it ( I am hoping to get behind one soon for few laps) and they all said it was an extremely comfortable, enjoyable, and the most practical EV on the market; but they were disappointed with the regen braking. So knowing how Toyota and Honda target similar markets, I can see this Honda EV going down the same route.

It is going to be one of the Japanese cousins of the Cadillac Lyriq and Chevrolet EV Blazer. Acura will also gets its version.

So, I expect at least the Acura version to get 320 hp and 312 miles of range for RWD . Maybe a bit less for the Chevy/Honda mainstream versions.

My take on the mild regen is that it's being done to make the switch from ICE to BEV less jarring. The same goes for a milder "throttle" map in the beginning of accelerator pedal travel, creep mode, etc. All things that emulate ICE characteristics. This puts people in a comfort zone where they will more readily adopt the new "thing".
