Chicago Rivian Sales Location Under Construction

Chuck’s is great, and Miskatonic is only a two minute drive away. They currently have an 11.5% Tiramisu Imperial Stout, a 9.2% Dopplebock, and a 5.3% Nut Brown on tap for those who prefer dark(er) beers. Hopefully Driver+ will be working after that stout…

I actually walk to Miskatonic Today I tried their coffee infused stout ( Thunderbird I think, I just ask them for the darkest beer without names lol ) and it was fantastic!

Yep, Thunderbird - I think that's the Tiramisu Imperial Stout.

Sorry for turning this into a beer discussion, but I'll have to get all of you out to Naperville. Solemn Oath and Noon Whistle have some great stouts and barrel-aged beers (not to mention lighter stuff for those who like it).

And those are just the start of our Chicago Area Rivian Brew Social ("CARBS" - I'm taking suggestions for a better name) meetups.

Hello from WV. I'll be in Chicago in May and was hoping to stop by the service center. Best guess whether I see a truck if I swing past the service center?

I'm a fan of the heavier beers (stouts/porters/scotch ales) and I haven't seen many from Miskatonic. They had one a long time ago but it was very hoppy, tasted more like an IPA.

They usually have one or two on tap, and I've found that those are always their best brews. Had one a few years ago that I still think fondly back on.

I was sad that I had to miss the Chuck’s pop-up yesterday, but I stopped in at Solemn Oath today mid-bike ride (no food, just liquid refreshment).

I got to talking with one of the brewers at Miskatonic who I know. Long story short, he’ll set “CARBS” up with a little group event when we want to get together there. We’ll have to plan something late Spring / early Summer. Cheers.

Rode by today... 3 trucks in the lot. One manufacturer plate, one EL 34k (maybe an employee) and one with temps.

Super exciting even though I did not see my config.

Stopped by on my way into the office; 5 R1Ts, mix of El Cap and LG.

Nice little set up they potentially have here. I'm envisioning driving to Chicago, stopping by for a top off charge and working from the cafe onsite for an hour or two before heading into the Loop.

I went by but didn't try to go in. What was I going to do ask if my delivery was still on track?

From looking inside the Guest Area it looked up and running. 3 of the trucks in the lot didn't have plates. The other 3 did so I'm guessing they are employee's cars. The back parking lot was almost half full of regular cars so probably employees or contractors. I think they have 9 garage bays total.

But I really went to see the vehicles up close and wasn't disappointed. They looked great and confirmed our choice of blue.
