Privacy data resets frequently since 2016.15.0 update

Ever since this update, my Rivian has been resetting the privacy data on my vehicle. Specifically, it’s resetting all the controls that make it possible to use autonomous plus capability. When this happens, I have to go to settings and reset five or six different menus selections to make it work again.

Before it started to happen, I was using the pin code to access and control my privacy data, but I turned that off hoping it would fix this problem. Neither configuration seems to help.

Is anyone else in this kind of problem?

I noticed this the other day. Did a hard reset due to some flakiness with the tailgate not locking and all the privacy allowed controls were turned off.

Along with privacy settings I have had seat position, ride settings etc all reset or changed.

I had the same issue this morning. D+ would not engage. Tried resets before noticing a little message saying something about privacy settings were preventing it. Found the setting, they had all been turned off. Set them back to on but had to fight them a bit, they kept resetting back to off. Finally got them to stay on and d+ works again. Gen 1

Thought I was going crazy. Asked RA what the problem was, nothing. Fired up, chatGPT, gave me this exact diagnosis immediately. Reset everything and good to go again.

This is actually not an issue with the update, but rather a server issue. Rivian has acknowledged the issue and said they're working on a fix
Where was this acknowledged by Rivian? A bug that changes my privacy settings or doesn't reflect a customer's selection is not good at all. I had Driver+ turned on in those settings but it still wasn't working. After a soft restart this morning, my vehicle said it was sharing data analytics and exterior cameras, which I have always had turned off. Was it sharing this data the whole time this has been going on without my consent?

Nothing direct from Rivian, but rather via Rivian Tracker who has close communication with RIvian:
He posted again this afternoon that the issue has now been resolved:

@mpshizzle Thank you. I kind of wish we didn't have to follow forums or influencers to troubleshoot our cars. I mean, I still accept it as an early adopter, but I can't imagine this blowing over well with mainstream users.
