Here on a nice Friday afternoon I have been able to help some dogs to beat the heat or at least make it bear able due to a power outage effecting Madison and Huntsville AL (60k customers with out power).

At the local doggie day care in Huntsville.
It’s a 93 and feels like 97.
Using both outlets in the tail gate to run some of “The Dog Spot” big fans to circulate air and keep the fur babies cool.

Have an electric truck is great for summer and not just in winter or when a tornado knocks out power.

Great job. Right up there with the vasectomy doctor that had the power go out during an operation. Rivian to the rescue!

But why not just load all the pups into the cab of the truck and run "pet comfort mode"? ?

Seriously, way to be a good neighbor! And we're not even to solstice, yet, so keep that truck charged, they'll probably need you again before fall.

We’ve had to scramble and rent big evaporative coolers at our place when an HVAC unit went down in the summer. And our current building is only 4 years old??

Great stuff.

It'd be nice to see Rivian beef up the outlets with a 50A (NEMA 14-50) like on the Cybertruck or the 30A plugs on the Lightning and Silverado. This is one area where Rivian lacks as the outlets are pretty weak at only 1500w, which is the lowest among EVs. It's better than having nothing for sure.
