With Comma you can now have Cruise Control Resume

Although Rivian does not provide a native cruise control resume function unlike other brands, if you have Comma with the xnor longitudinal harness (xnor.shop) you can have most of the functions of resume that you might have been used to elsewhere.

Since getting my Rivian, the lack of a resume feature is just about my only complaint about the entire design of the vehicle, all the rest of which I love. When I bought my comma I was convinced that it would provide a way to get this feature. However whenever I mentioned it on the various forums I was told that it just wasn’t possible for all sorts of reasons. Not to be discouraged I decided to start digging under the hood and learning how the whole openpilot/sunnypilot code infrastructure worked. So after a few false starts I managed to solve the last outstanding bug and get it working. I’ve been driving around with it for a while now and am absolutely loving having this feature available.

Rivian Resume is now available for public beta testing.

Looks like the xnor "longitudinal harness " (which is what I have) has been removed from XNOR (the direct link works) , and the newer angle based kit is listed as an "Extreme Dev Kit" that is coming soon. Is that a true statement @gerrylum ?

Lukas posted somewhere on Discord that he had removed it temporarily pending the new angle one being available so as to avoid people buying it and then discovering they needed to spend more for the angle based one. I think you should see it back for sale shortly.

Geomglot is correct. Unless Lukas has changed his mind he still plans to continue to sell the longitudinal upgrade at a new lower price alongside the angle-based harness.

It’s been over a year since I bought anything from overseas because of all the tariff stuff and the constantly changing rules. How do tariffs now work if I order anything off the xnor website? Is there another bill I’ll be stuck paying to the shipping company?

I understand that Lukas has arranged shipping so that tariffs are paid at his end for shipments to the US. You would need to check with him to be sure.
