After 18 months with our R1T we finally did a road trip. Even though I’d always said EVs are for short commutes and for longer trips I would always rent an ICE vehicle; I really wanted to test out not just the R1T but also the charging infrastructure. We’ll the R1T certainly did not disappoint. Here’s a video recap of our trip from OC up to Carmel. Unfortunately the coastal roads were still closed but we still managed to drive a lot of the best parts of Big Sur.
