Anyone familiar with this company? Found this video on YouTube about them working with Rivian.
Yes, I know they have a significant presence here in Austin due to their merger with Freescale, which was previously part of Motorola.
They've been in the semiconductor space for a long time, but can't say I really know much about their current offerings.
I think they’re one of the newer entrants into the automotive space, I think when they acquired Freescale; Freescale were long-time players in the automotive space though I believe.
Although reading https://www.eetimes.com/document.asp?doc_id=1329375 sounds like NXP were maybe already in automotive and the acquisition of Freescale just increased their share of the market.
Check them out in the Digikey or Mouser catalogs.
I did a little research, & they are very involved in the vehicle space. I'm guessing a lot of the Rivian architecture is based on NXP offerings.
